This private 5-day Luxor and Aswan tour package starts in Luxor and follows a carefully planned route through some of southern Egypt’s most important archaeological sites.
You will explore both banks of the Nile in Luxor, including Karnak Temple, Luxor Temple, the Valley of the Kings, the Colossi of Memnon and Hatshepsut Temple. The journey then continues to Dendera to see the magnificent Temple of Hathor.
On the way to Aswan, discover the temples of Edfu and Kom Ombo. In Aswan, visit the High Dam, Philae Temple and the Unfinished Obelisk, enjoy a traditional felucca ride and take an early trip to the extraordinary temples of Abu Simbel.

08:00 – Valley of the Kings
Cross the Nile and enter the famous Valley of the Kings. Hidden among the Theban hills, the valley became the burial ground of many New Kingdom pharaohs.
Explore the open tombs included with your entrance ticket and admire their colorful paintings, hieroglyphs and scenes connected with ancient Egyptian beliefs about the afterlife.
Special tombs, including Tutankhamun's, require an additional entrance ticket.
10:30 – Hatshepsut Temple
Continue to the spectacular mortuary temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir el-Bahari. Its three terraces rise dramatically against the limestone cliffs.
Your guide will explain the remarkable story of Hatshepsut and her reign as one of ancient Egypt's most famous female rulers.
12:00 – Colossi of Memnon
Stop at the enormous statues of Amenhotep III. The two seated figures have watched over the West Bank for thousands of years and remain one of Luxor's most recognizable landmarks.

12:00 – Kom Ombo Temple

16:00 – Felucca Ride
Board a traditional Egyptian felucca for a relaxing sail around Elephantine Island. Enjoy the breeze, Nile scenery and peaceful atmosphere of Aswan.
An optional visit to the Nubian Village can also be arranged.

Continue to the ancient granite quarries to see the enormous Unfinished Obelisk. The site offers a fascinating glimpse into the techniques used by ancient Egyptian stone workers.
16:00 – Return journey to Luxor
Begin the drive back to Luxor. If your onward journey requires an airport drop-off in Aswan, this can be arranged on request.
