   Valley of the Kings

  The final resting place of Egypt’s rulers from the Eighteenth to the Twentieth Dynasty, it is home to tombs including the great pharaoh Ramses II and the boy pharaoh Tutankhamun.   Hatshepsut Temple
  The Temple of Hatshepsut is one of the most beautiful and best preserved of all the temples of ancient Egypt that you can find in Luxor. The temple is built on three levels with two broad ramps in a central location that connect the levels together. Up from the desert plain, in a series of terraces, is the Temple of Hatshepsut Mark with its sheer limestone cliffs on the eastern face of Mount Thebes as if nature itself had built this extraordinary monument.

  Visit the Colossus of Memnon

  The Colossi of Memnon are two colossal stone statues of King Amenhotep III are the only remains of a complete mortuary temple. The statues were made from blocks of quartzite sandstone found in Cairo and then moved 700 km to Luxor. The two statues are known as the Colossus of Egypt. Memnon, rising about 18 meters from the plain, are the remains of what was once the largest complex on the West Bank, built by Amenhotep III. At around noon you will have lunch at a local restaurant in Luxor, then visit Karnak Temple, Karnak Egypt 360 – the largest known ancient religious site anywhere in the world:

  The Temple of Karnak Karnak Egypt 360 is the largest ancient religious site known anywhere in the world, and there is no site in Egypt more impressive than Karnak Karnak Egypt 360. It is the largest temple complex ever built by man. It represents the joint achievement of many ancient generations of builders and pharaohs. Karnak Egypt 360 is actually three main temples located on 247 acres of land.
  Finally, you will be transferred by a private air-conditioned vehicle to your hotel in Portghalib to end your day trip from Portghalib to Luxor.

  End the day with an optional felucca tour during the afternoon – the perfect way to unwind while watching traditional riverside country life.
