After embarkation, enjoy lunch on board your Nile cruise. In the afternoon, begin your Luxor sightseeing with Karnak Temple, one of the largest and most impressive temple complexes in ancient Egypt. Walk among monumental columns, pylons, obelisks, and sacred spaces connected with the Theban gods. Continue to Luxor Temple, located on the east bank of the Nile. The temple is closely connected with the ancient Opet Festival and features impressive monuments associated with Amenhotep III, Tutankhamun, and Ramses II. Enjoy dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Start the morning with breakfast on board. Cross to Luxor's West Bank to explore the Valley of the Kings, the famous royal necropolis where many New Kingdom pharaohs were buried. Continue to the Colossi of Memnon, two monumental statues that once stood before the mortuary temple of Amenhotep III. Then visit the Temple of Hatshepsut, dramatically built against the cliffs of Deir el-Bahari. Its terraces create one of the most recognizable views in Luxor. At around 13:00, begin sailing toward the Esna Lock with lunch served on board. At approximately 18:00, pass through Esna and continue sailing toward Edfu. Dinner and overnight on board in Edfu.
Enjoy breakfast on board. At around 07:00, visit the Temple of Edfu, dedicated to Horus, the falcon-headed god. Its impressive state of preservation allows visitors to appreciate the scale and design of a Ptolemaic temple. At approximately 09:30, continue sailing toward Kom Ombo. The monumental rock-cut façades make Abu Simbel one of southern Egypt's most memorable archaeological sites. After the excursion, return to the cruise in Aswan. Enjoy dinner and overnight on board.
